What is Cardio Tennis?
Cardio Tennis is a cross-over fitness and tennis program that was started by the Tennis Industry Association, in conjunction with the U.S. Tennis Association in the summer of 2005. Since its inception, the program has expanded to over 30 countries and nearly 2,000 tennis facilities in the United States. According to data from the 2013 Physical Activity Councils annual U.S. Sports, Fitness, and Recreation Participation report, more than 1.4 million individuals participated in Cardio Tennis in 2012, up nearly 60% since participation in the program was first measured in 2008.
Internationally, the program has been adopted by several National Governing Bodies (NGBs) of tennis, including Germany (DTB) in 2006, the Japan Tennis Association in 2006, the Lawn Tennis Association in 2007, Tennis Australia in 2010, and Tennis Canada in 2012.
This is America’s hottest and most talked about tennis course. Come join our fun, fast-paced, calorie-burning, music-blasting, high-energy class! Find out more about Cardio tennis at www.cardiotennis.com.
