Basketball Program Information
- Practices begin early December and the games will begin early January.
- Players will need to purchase black athletic shorts with no pockets, belt loops or zippers.
- Ages 4-8 will always practice and have games on Saturdays.
- Ages 9-12 may play games against other area recreation departments which would require traveling to
games. These age groups will practice twice a week some combination of days between Monday and
Thursday. Games will be at St. Andrew's Gymnasium on these days but could also include Saturdays at
other recreation departments.
Basketball evaluations will take place in the gymnasium on 1095 Playground Rd.
9-10 Girls - Monday, November 14th @ 6:00 pm.
9-10 Boys - Tuesday, November 15th @ 6:00 pm.
11-12 Girls - Wednesday, November 16th @ 6:00 pm.
11-12 Boys - Thursday, November 17th @ 6:00 pm.
Age Cut-Offs
League age is determined by the participants' age on the following date.
Basketball - September 1, 2022
Age Groups
Co-ed - 4, 5-6, and 7-8
Girls - 9-10 and 11-12
Boys - 9-10 and 11-12
Picture Day – To be determined.
Registration information
Early Registration - September 26th – October 9th ($45 PSD and City Residents/$70 Non-PSD and Non City Residents) Regular Registration - October 10th - October 23rd ($60 PSD and City Residents/$85 Non-PSD and Non-City Residents) Late Registration (Based on availability) - October 24th - October 28th ($80 PSD and City Residents/$105 Non-PSD and Non-City Residents) **$5.00 administrative fee added for registrations done over the phone or in person ** Your child must have a birth certificate on file to be able to register online. First time registrants will need to bring a copy of each child’s birth certificate to the office at 1095 Playground Road or email a copy to customerservice@standrewsparks.com. $5.00 admin fee will not be added for new in person registrations **
